We are happy to announce that Red Hat is starting a security blog. Red Hat has a long history of security leadership in the open source community but this is the first time we have shared our knowledge, security expertise, and experience with a wider audience via a blog. Red Hat has plenty of interesting security news and topics that we think would be useful to share. Previously, various team members have published security stories on an ad hoc basis. Now we have decided it is time to combine our efforts.

This is the inaugural entry for the Red Hat Security Blog. We currently aim to have bi-weekly updates covering a wide range of security topics. Red Hat has security involvement in areas such as security basics, security recommended practices, proactive security efforts, reactive security efforts, and implementation security. You can expect everything from informational posts and examples, to our plans for the future of security at Red Hat. The target audience for this is everything from Red Hat customers to open source developers.

You can find the blog at https://securityblog.redhat.com. We have an RSS feed here https://securityblog.redhat.com/feed/ . Be sure to check back every other Wednesday for updates.
